NOVEMBER 23 2004

Unfortunately The Independents were in a accident on Saturday. As they were travelling to Nottingham their van hit some black ice and turned over. The most seriously hurt were the driver who had to go to hospital with head injuries and Willy, The Independents guitarist, who broke his arm in two places. This has inevitably caused The Independents to cancel their European tour. We wish The Independents well, hope they have a safe journey home, and that all involved recover quickly.
